Plugins are additional programs that extend the functionality of CMSimple. Typical examples are guestbook, members area, photo galleries and other multimedia applications.
CMSimple plugins are mostly available for download as .zip files. Unpack the file with a suitable program. In most cases you will find a directory named CMSimpleRoot in the unzipped download, which stands for the installation directory of CMSimple.
In this directory you will find the following file:
CMSimpleRoot/plugins/plugin_name/help/help.htm
You can open this file with a browser, here you will find more information about installing and using the plugin.
Upload the entire structure of the directory CMSimpleRoot to the root directory of your CMSimple installation - done. Now you also can call the help file from the Plugins menu (in the Admin menu). Open the plugin and click on "Plugin Help" in the plugin menu.
