"403 forbidden"

Post by sorenholst »

I recently created a very minor web page using CMSimple 5.21.
I tested it in a subfolder of my personal web page, and all was well.
I then bought a separate domain (teologisk-voksenundervisning.dk), uploaded the same CMS and content with the same hosting company, and now the computers of several friends (and myself) give "403-forbidden" messages.

The peculiar thing is than one colleague CAN access the page. And I can access and even edit it on my iPhone
– but on my PC, whether I use Firefox, Chrome or Edge: Access forbidden.

I'm using a computer from a Danish university – the other people unable to access the page work for a different large organisation, so very likely something to do with strict security?
But I can access other pages, managed in CMSimple as well and hosted with the same provider ...

(I realize, it may have nothing to do with CMSimple; but the again, it might?)

Antwort auf deutsch herzlich wilkommen, ich wollte bloss nicht meine Frage auf unanständig schlechtes deutsch stellen ...

Ok - I will answer in my bad English ;)

I can access your website with no problems:

https://teologisk-voksenundervisning.dk/

So it cannot be the provider or the web server, and also CMSimple should not be responsible for the problems. Sometimes there maybe some temporarely problems with new domains. Perhaps the problems are gone in a few hours, up to every DNS server knows the new domain.

PS: Registration of a new domain on the DNS servers can take up to 48 hours.

Also einfach herumsitzen und warten (und Kaffee trinken).
Wenn bloss mehr Probleme so zu lösen wäre :-)
Danke vielmals!
