Can't Login as admin anymore

Hi all,

Very recently I had to make some changes to a CMSimple (V.4.7) website that we had no used for the pat year or so and discovered I have no longer access via the admin login (users can still do). I have tried the fix as explained in this thread: https://www.cmsimple.org/doku/en/?Insta ... __Password but no luck. I still get a "401" error.

Does anyone know of another method to regain access to the website?

Hi Gert,

I mean, the normal login for user is fine, but the admin login is not working.

the left side loginform is the MembersArea Login Form, the other one is the CMSimple Admin Login Form.

But I have a problem: agarplantation.asia uses a template from ge-webdesign.de, and you have removed my Template Designer Link without purchasing a license.

And: agarplantation.asia is a commercial website and uses a template and some plugins from ge-webdesign.de without Commercial License General (CLG):

Hi Daniele,

thanks a lot for the mails, for the links and especially for the not mandatory link to CMSimple

Now the solution for your problem:

1. Update to CMSimple 5.16 (don't forget to make a backup first), it's really easy, just overwrite your CMSimple installation with the files and folders of the unzipped Download.

2. Create a new password by setup. You can find out how to do this in the README.txt in the CMSimple root folder.
