I'd like to offer a members section to a CMSimple site, where the membership can use a shared password.
This can be changed once a month or as when required.
Is there a possible solutiob for this already.
I have the Memberpages plugin installed, but it's too complex to manage a large membership.
Is there a really basic one password-for-all option.

No, isn't.

But you can create only one user (for example name him "members"), and give the members the access data:

User: members
Password: H75eX23F

So you have only to change one Password for all, or the member, or both, if you want,
